Chris is a Lean Six Sigma & Business Transformation Leader with a 20 Year track record; starting as an improvement engineer/coach, progressing to a senior transformation leader within multiple industries and sectors. He has expertise in continuous improvement approaches/methodologies and bolsters this by helping companies/teams in developing a strategic (Hoshin) plan including the design of bespoke Operating Model Canvas through to the improvement project implementation. 

Chris has lead projects in ‘Export’ challenges and ‘Digital Transformation’ i.e. Blockchain and Customer Service Solutions Architecture to improve the customer experience of Aerospace, Defence and Transportation sectors;  this was underpinned by ‘Big Data’, data analytics, modern day technology and systems. 

Having a strong project management background supported by years of experience, he ensures those teams and its members are developed to ensure sustainability. 

 TYPICAL OUTCOMES:

  • £26m per year revenue growth - Photo Processing Value Stream Design and Project Implementation.

  • £47m reduction of real estate costs of per year via Hoshin Design and Development for Global Aerospace Industry Leader

  • 47% OTIF by to an average of 88% across 5 major business lines in 12 months via a factory redesign 

  • £22.4m generated in first year and an additional contract in product application training for next 5 years via creation of an export market operating model canvas design 

  • £17.2m savings from Lean Sigma Development Programme where 18% of workforce gained accreditation of Green, Black and Master Black belt 

  • £6.2m  savings to bottom line via Supply Chain Cost reduction programme through the application of a 13 Lever approach (i.e. Contract Negotiation, Commodity waves analysis & leverage and supplier fragility analysis, etc) 

  • £33.4m increase in revenue across all UK sites in year one for Services Operations Transformation project to support customer experience improvement, OTIF, organic growth revenues. Achievement after 9 months was £26m which was the point that self-sustainment (following improvement workshops and team training in Lean Sigma) was signed off to enable an internally lead next phase. 

Chris supports both small and large organisations in small blitz activities to larger (high business risk) improvement projects and ensures the capability is transferred in house for self-sustainability and future improvement.
